Village Players kicks off its first ever Classical Vocal Concert Series this weekend with From Italy With Love on Friday, Nov. 10 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3:00 p.m.  This concert will feature many of your favorites arias from Italian opera as well as beloved Neopolitan songs.

You will hear solos and duets from Verdi to Puccini and beyond.  Franco Martorana headlines this event.  Franco is a well-known Chicago tenor with a big voice who has performed at Lyric Opera of Chicago.  He is joined by other budding opera stars.

Each song is introduced in a playful way by Village Players actors who provide translations and laughs along the way.
